Isn’t it annoying when you hear buzz about a new social media outlet but don’t know how to use it right away? Well, here are the basics of utilizing twitter.
- Create a twitter username
- Log into twitter at www.twitter.com
- You’ll see a column on the right hand with the following:
-Home: a feed of tweets from people you follow
-@your username: people who mention you and are conversating with you
- Direct Messages: your followers who send
- Favorites: your favorite tweets that you’ve starred
- Retweets: retweets by others, retweets by you, your tweets retweeted
