Mentors:

-Guide you

-Provide encouragement and feedback

-Push you forward

-Hold you accountable

-Care for your well being

-Believe in you when you may not believe in yourself.

-Want you to succeed.

The way to pay back your mentors is to: put their guidance to action, pay it forward by helping someone else, and thanking them. A simple thank you page on your website might do the trick!

All this talk about generosity has got me thinking. Do unto others as you’d like to be treated. Does being generous to others really benefit one person? Yes, it does!

Being nice to people not only feels nice, but leads to success! Helping others without any strings attached has led to more opportunities than I’d have otherwise. Generosity is spiritually uplifting and a catalyst to goal-oriented success.

Be a generous person now and enrich your tomorrow! Align your value system with the opportunities you want. If you want certain opportunities to open up to you, you must first give to that group of people in that particular area.

How can I give generosity to people who seemingly don’t need my help?

Look again! You can always contribute to someone’s goals or needs. No, you don’t need to be the smartest or most accomplished person to help someone. You just have to be thoughtful and caring!

How do I actually give generosity to others?

When socializing face to face with people, you can make small talk and find out what people are passionate about. For instance, I love tennis. If you clipped me a coupon or article related to tennis, I’d be ecstatic! Not only that, I’d return your generosity with gratitude.

Generosity invites Gratitude!

Gratitude offers a lifetime of friendships and well-being!

Generosity and Social Media = Weberosity

If you’re using social media to practice gratitude, the internet has done half of the work for you. Read people’s profiles and see how you can help their goals and interests. Engage in weberosity, a term I coined to define generosity on the web!

-If you can’t immediately help a person, you can practice generosity by simply leaving words of encouragement.

-Reach into your social [media] networks and do a quick search of people you can connect to each other. By doing so, you’re enhancing your network of friends to be more successful. Some of this success will reciprocate to you!

Networking means a lot of things to many people. Social Networking is loaded with even more interpretations.

One thing is certain: your network, when built correctly, is a network of friends! My network has been there for me in my success and progress.

What’s the best thing I can do for my network right now? I’m going to thank the people who’ve volunteered hours and hours of their precious time to help me!

Consider creating a wall of gratitude page on your website to all the people who want you to succeed as much as you want it for yourself.

Check out my “Wall of Gratitude” a.k.a. thank-you page!
